Makaha is not fancy at all–it is home to 85% of native Hawaiian people–an eclectic mix of folks rich, poor, and in between all living in harmony in paradise. Local folks are not really into fine homes–we much prefer to live “outside,” and why not–weather is basically perfect all year round. If you smile and embrace the local culture, you may very well end up with new friends for life!

Waianae Boat Harbor is 5 minutes from our condos–great boat trips for fishing, sea turtle/dolphin tours (yes, you can swim with them), snorkeling, or simply viewing our incredibly beautiful coastline.

Enjoy calm mornings on the lanai with a cuppa (Kona coffee is da best), followed by a day of swimming, snorkeling (great right off our beach), boogie boarding, golfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, or simply basking in the delicious warmth of our Hawaiian sun. Our crystal clear, glimmering aqua waters will hold you spellbound. Enjoy our BBQ area grilling something wonderful for dinner, then finish your day gazing at SPECTACULAR Makaha sunsets–listen for the blowing of the conch shells at exact sundown.
Makaha has lots of fast food and small ethnic diners, or you may choose an exquisite fine dining experience in the Ko Olina and Kapolei areas only a short drive up the coast.
Local grocery store, pharmacy, and all the necessities, including a 24-hour medical facility, are within 2-5 miles of Makaha.
